Start with a saved game

I have a suggestion. When entering a competition, the cursor could automatically be set to “Start from saved game.” It’s very easy to click “Start” by mistake, which has already happened to me. I was already in the middle of the season and it sent me back to the beginning.

Before this update, I was able to play through the entire season without issues. Even if I accidentally clicked “start,” I could go back, select “continue last game,” and resume from where I left off.

With this update, however, it has already happened several times that I accidentally clicked “start.” Even after going back and selecting “continue last game,” the game resets and takes me back to the beginning.

Could you please fix this? Right now, you have to be very careful not to click “start,” as the cursor is positioned there by default. I’m sure this has happened to other players as well.

I also have a suggestion on how this could be improved. You could add an option in the settings called “lock game start.” Once enabled, the start option would be locked until all created competitions are finished. After that, it would unlock again so a new game can be started, and after the first event is played, it would automatically lock again.

Please consider this suggestion.

Maybe there could be a dialog that warns if you are starting a new game if the previous game is not fully finished.
Right now the best workaround is to actually save the game before quitting.

Thank you, Jussi, for your reply. Saving the game does solve this issue, but you still need to save after each match before exiting – or at least every third or fourth one, since you never know when you might make a mistake. Therefore, it would be good if the game saved automatically, like in the previous version.

Hmm... it does save automatically after each competition. But if you start a new game it will overwrite the previous one.
So, the safe approach is to save the game manually before quitting.

It is true that the game saves automatically after each competition, as long as you don’t accidentally click “Start.” Therefore, I suggest adding an option to block the start function for the duration of the entire competition.
