I checked my antivirus logs and I found the issue.
I'm using Avast Free Antivirus, and it turns out Avast is automatically removing DSJ4.exe.

In the Quarantine section there are multiple entries for DSJ4.exe marked as:

IDP.Generic
Original location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Deluxe Ski Jump 4\DSJ4.exe

So Avast is deleting the executable every time — even after I added exclusions. That explains why the file kept disappearing after every reboot and why the installer fails with the “MoveFile failed; code 5 – Access denied” error (because Avast blocks it or deletes it during installation).

It looks like a false positive detection by Avast.

The game is working now. I actually managed to install it and run it already yesterday. After that, I added both the installer file and the entire game folder to my antivirus exceptions, and since then Avast has stopped removing or quarantining DSJ4.

When you choose a competition which is not counting to "World Cup" - prequalification doesn't work.

For example:

I have made a tournament called "Nordic KO" - consisting of 4 competitions. All of them counting only to "Nordic KO". Even if I put "8" as "prequalified - it doesn't work.

PQ rule should be applied nevertheless according to World Cup position. Did the jumpers have World Cup points?

No. The calendar consisted of 1 tournament only: "Nordic KO" - not counting to "World Cup".

"Nordic KO" - marked.
"World Cup" and other tournaments - unmarked.

Ok, then this is by design. I should probably make PQ source cup configurable.

In KO Mode, BIBs in 2nd round aren't blue or red, the default one is used instead. Also comptetitors that have qualified for 2nd round have their 1st round position displayed in the hud during 2nd round. For ex. jumper who was 36th in points, but won his duel and qualified for 2nd round has his 1st round position displayed instead of 30-29-28 etc.

Ok, thanks. I'll check this.

Hello Jussi,
I noticed one more thing. In Super Team events, in the final round, the first and second groups jump from the lowest-ranked to the highest-ranked athletes, but in the Team event nothing has changed – only the fourth group jumps from the lowest to the highest. Was this left like that intentionally, or was it perhaps overlooked?
Best regards and all the best in the New Year.

Thanks for the heads up. I didn't notice that the rule has changed. I'll fix it.

Hello Jussi,
You did a very good job with the individual competition, as we can choose ourselves how many rounds there are and how many jumpers compete in each round. However, this option is not available in team and super team competitions.

In super team competitions, I have 12 teams set up; all of them compete in the first and second rounds, and 8 advance to the final. I would like to have 12 teams in the first round, 10 in the second, and 8 in the third. Is it possible to add this option as well?
