On some players there has been a problem when overwriting previous save game. Windows for some reason fails to remove the folder from the previous save game and the game crashes to that failure before being able to write the new files. I'll improve this so that the folders are not removed but the contents will be just replaced. Right now it's safer to save the game on new name than to overwrite previous one.Artur Zięba wrote: 25 Nov 2025, 10:51 I have a problem with this new version. First of all, what exactly is this synchronization about? Second, maybe someone knows how to avoid this issue in the future.
I wanted to set up a World Cup. After two events I had to exit the competition mode. I saved the World Cup. But when I wanted to load the game as the next event, it showed me the first one instead of the third. The results of the two completed events were erased (this happened both in the “load game” tab and in “continue previous game”). When I tried to overwrite the World Cup save, an error popped up. After restarting the game, my entire created season and all the athletes I had created two hours earlier were deleted. The system simply reverted to the state from before launching the game.
What could have gone wrong here? How do you save the World Cup so that after leaving the mode you can continue the game right where you left off?
With regards the game reverting to earlier state in saved game I am not quite sure what could be the cause. OneDrive may be syncing old versions of the files from the cloud and overwriting the local changes done by DSJ4 or something like that. This requires more inspection - and feeback.
If the game crashes at any point you should be able to use "Continue Previous Game" option to continue where it was left (not in the middle of competition, though).
Please note that if you already have started the season and add or edit ski jumpers / teams / super teams / cups during the season they won't appear automatically to the main off-season configuration. If you want to apply the changes to main configuration then you have to use the "Synchronize" functionality. The reason for this is that there are now multiple save game slots and players may be playing multiple different seasons at the same time and they all must have their own configuration.
