BREAKING NEWS! Jussi Koskela uncovers the 1.12 version work progress:

"I have been quite busy with my other job and with other projects but I am now working on the update, too.

Estimating the release date is still difficult. I'm progressing steadily. I still need more time, so the update won't be available yet.

My progress on 1.12 has unfortunately been slower than expected. Therefore I am not sure yet if there will be a smaller update still for this season or a larger one for the next one.

Anyway. You'll have to wait for the next season."

Btw Jussi, have you ever thought of publishing the game on Steam or GOG?

Jussi has said many times that the game will not be released on Steam or any similar platforms.

Reason:

A pathological inability to adapt to a changing world and stubborn sticking to one's own outdated beliefs, even though one could earn more.

Justification:

- the same Mediamond website layout since 2000
- the same main menu photo in the game since 2004 (DSJ3 release date)
- the same limited methods of payment

Well I still pray for the good times like this to be released on Steam, but if Jussi sticks to his old style - I don't care. I think he's doing it for the hardcore fans.

If Jussi were to release the game on Friday, he would have announced it on the forum a long time ago. In my opinion, the game will come out a little later. Usually the info was about a month earlier.

Version 1.7.0 was announced on October 21 and released on November 13, so...
